The Chile Club was founded in 1949 with the purpose of promoting the exchange of ideas between the Chilean and English speaking business communities. This takes place in an informal atmosphere by means of a monthly luncheon at the Club de la Union in Santiago where a guest speaker is invited to talk on matters of current interest.

The club meets on the fourth Thursday of each month, and the traditions established over fifty years ago are still maintained.
